Berry Gordy is a songwriter, record executive and producer and the founder of the Motown Record label. He is also a television and film producer! As of 2019, Berry Gordy net worth is $400 million.

Berry Gordy shaped the nations view point on African-American music. While Berry Gordy himself thought that race was not a thing to be categorized by, others did not listen at the time. 

Afraid his music would be turned down for people judged it by its cover, Berry Gordy's first albums were sketches and drawing related to the song and title but not to the artists of African-Americans.
